I am putting a blower in my other car and was told that Taurus fan is a good alternative to a factory mechanical fan. Does anyone know how much cfm it flows? Also, what are the rough dimensions of the fan? Does anyone have some pictures? Are there different variations between the years?

ATXs use a different fan config than the MTXs. SHOs use a completely different fan motor than the Vulcan and Essex equiped Tauri.

The fan from the 3.8 Taurus is the most commonly used in those applications - it is a 2 speed design and on high speed it flows a huge amount of air and it also draws a lot of current - 40A steady state, iirc, and like 75A at startup, so you need a very large fuse and relay to handle the current. I used one of those on my supercharged Ranger and I only needed to use low speed to keep it cool under any conditions.
