Cooled seats are a joke.

Had anybody popped in some Higher flowing SPAL's???

I think I'm going to remove my passenger side fan and duct and have someone print me an adapter for a bigger fan.

Thoughts?

Mine worked great. Have you checked the filters?

Took em off. I even stuff towels to trap the floor cold air from the vent. They work. But absolutely nothing compared to say a newer GM truck that I drive

My seats over heat and shut off about the time my cheeks are medium rare. But the ac does take a few minutes to notice. We're comparing apples to oranges. These cars were made when cooled seats were just becoming more common and not just a euro luxury option. It's been 15 years since these cars came out, there was little to no revisions over the 9 year run and the tech has advanced since they figured out people like cool air up the ass. A bigger fan might help but I think the cooling factor may be over driven and you'll get coolish air at a higher velocity.

I think the problem you may run into is the amount of dirt in the foam. Also, as Mad Scientist pointed out, these were made when cooled seats in American vehicles were just becoming a thing, so the foam type is probably completely different from something you'd find in a 2024 F-350. Add in that it's got years of dirt build up in the foam and you're left with not much hope. However if a stronger fan does do the trick, let us know. I'm sure there's many guys who would love to have better seat cooling

The filters are replaceable and sold as a separate item. They could also be washed and re-installed.

That may help somewhat.

Odd, mine (2016 SHO) work much better than my wife’s 2023 GM does. I can barely feel hers on high but mine make you think you’ve wet your pants even through jeans.

Ford first installed filters and later they used just the frame with no filter media. You can find both versions.

I have black seats and find cooling to be underwhelming in my 13 intil it's been on for 10 min or so, heating works well. They should have done something with the seat back.

My seats. You can see the passenger seat is by far way better thanks to Nobody ever sitting in it... I agreed the compacting of the foam is probably the issue.

mine are fine I would call them powerful but they work. I. have the replacement part for the filter in my signature I believe. the issues as I recall was the filters with media would clog and yes you could wash them, but the problem is it creates woo much strain on the motors- fans and would burn out the mltor or harness or both.
