I have a '95 SHO/MTX and am looking for suggestions on installing a coolant temperature gage. With the varying degrees of dependibility of the factory gage I know a lot of people must have done this and have input as to the best gage, best routing of cable through firewall, best place to locate sending unit and materials needed. And, if you have a free afternoon....no just kidding. I don't mine the labor but I don't want to try and re-invent the wheel so I just want to pick up information from other SHO owners. I don't think I want to use the mount on the windshield pillar because it might create a blind spot or the lighted gage might be distracting at night. Is on the consul to the left of cigarette lighter the best place for gage?
