On a '92 MTX where is the coolant temp sensor? Next to the thermostat or what? Thanks for info.

The gauge sending unit (with one wire) is to the left of the thermostat. You can see it pretty easily. The sending unitfor the ECU has a 2 prong plug and is to the right of the thermostat. A little bit harder to see and get to.

Not sure about Autozone. I'm pretty sure both those sensors are common to the regular taurus, as well as many other Ford cars. I know that you shouldn't have a problem getting them at Ford.
