Coolant overflow bottle on Gen 1 broken tabs.

Has anyone come up with a solution to the coolant bottle broken mounting tab syndrome? The top of the plastic bottle has two nubs that protrude through the mounting bracket and are melted and smashed to hold the bottle to the bracket. Of course, the nubs are broken now. Epoxy seems like such a messy solution. Has anybody come up with a fix? Thanks.

i've tried two different epoxy's mixes and neither held. it just doesn't bond to the plastic the overflow bottle is made of. i just had to find a decent one in the junkyard which i did.
