I have a coolant leak. I can't find it but all I can say is it is leaking down the starter. Freeze plug?

I felt around there and didn't notice any wetness. Does it help that the moment I start the car it starts dripping faster, even when it's cool?

your freeze plug is on the rear side of the engine behind the exhaust manifold so for that to be leaking on the starter would be kind of hard but i guess possible.....lol......id say one of the lines if it even looks old replace it....cheap and easy insurance.........and check the housing your thermostat sits in and make sure it titghtened down.........
I think you are spot on. I pulled the fan and started it up for about 30 seconds. Turned it off and there was a line of coolant running down where the engine meets the tranny. I figure I either don't have a good seal on the head ports or on the pipe to the waterpump. Either way it means I have to take a lot off to get to it.
Found it. The water outlet housing had a bolt that wasn't torqued on. I tightened it but I am going to do some searching for the specs.
