never running!
Forgive my ignorance on this subject - but I am new to shos. I have a 93 atx and on my way home the other day I lost all of my coolant from what I thought was the upper radiator hose. Went to Napa - got a hose and coolant and replace and refilled. Ran the engine to warm it up to operating temp so the thermostat would open up so I could fill the system completely. Revved it a few times while a friend looked under the hood and with each rev coolant sprayed out of a hose that is right above where the upper radiator hose goes on the water neck out of the block. I also think it is leaking from another small hose in the same area leading to the intake or right under it? I've never seen these two small hoses and have no idea what they are for - is it a coolant bypass hose or something? Please tell me how to replace them and where to get them. I know for a fact its coming from the one above the radiator hose - it's got like a small metal fitting on the end which leads up towards the throttle body. Thank you for your help!
