Hey guys, I recently found out in my auto class that I had a coolant leak underneath my car where the metal hose connects to the rubber one a little bit above the 2nd O2 sensor. So I bought what my teacher told me to, 5/8 hose, and two hose clamps. He told me to cut the metal part of the hose but I really didn't want to and he got mad at me so I finally did it. Well I got a bunch of coolant in my mouth and after a about an hour in the half of a pain in the ass I finally got this stupid hose on. But it has a kink in it because of the angle. Everything seems to be working fine but it seems like the heat comes out pretty weak. It's definately there, just weak. Is anything wrong, what is a good way to get the kink out? Any advice is appreciated, Thanks.

If that kink offers a 50% less flow in the heater core , its gonna have 50% less heat.

Obviously the kink as a good restriction in it that lower the hot coolant to flow freely inside the core.
