After about two or three hours of fighting with it I came back later and pulled it out the other way, toward the passenger side, and it came out much easier. I'm gonna clean up the ends and take a picture for everyone so they know what it looks like without the aluminum part on it. Also screw that bolt/bracket and screw that whole area, total flustercuck of wires and tubes.

I am about to replace that entire assembly soon. This is making me even more tentative lol. I was going to attempt it when I removed the intake to get a little more room to work with.

That would definitely give you more elbow room and line of sight, most of my problem was being nearly blind. With the intake off, the EGR loose and other things around there a bit more flexible it'd be much easier I think. I was just determined to do it my way, skipping breakfast to get out there early probably didn't help my mental state any. You oughta be just fine.

Got it back on, no bolt or anything, no leaks so far. But I broke the shift cable housing while getting it in or out somewhere:cussing:
