Well, I'd say if you've just recently replaced your ECT, that's probably the most likely place for the leak to come from. FYI, I replaced my ECT with a cheaper replacement from NAPA which was all plastic, and it ended up causing me some headaches. I ended up getting a Ford part and it's been great since.

Anyway, if you replaced the ECT yourself, then you shouldn't have a problem going back in there to check and see if everything looks right. Recheck the torque on the ECT and try to see where the coolant leak might be coming from. There are a number of coolant lines directly beneath the throttle body (several going to it), but a common one to fail is the rubber hose section of the heater core line which is only about 3 inches long, leading from the engine block to the solid metal portion of the rest of the line. It's here:

The blue part is rubber, the orange part is metal. Have a look at that rubber part. I had that burst last spring, and I've read of a number of other SHO owners who've experienced the same problem.

Get in there and look around, and let us know what you find! :thumb:

i don't think it is that hose i think it is that one. the hose right below the trottle body hole where the air comes in and all right below that is where i think the leak is it is REALLY loose i don't even think there is a clamp on it i can move it around with ease! the steem seems to be coming from there i am just gunna have my mom take it to the shop whille i am at work and wait till it is fixed i just don't have the time unless i quit my job..... witch i might end up having to do.... man this really sucks. I do really think this should fix it tho cause these hoses go to the Heater coil am i right witch it looks be be like it was bybased or something.....
