I was doing my 195k mile oil change today and noticed a line of coolant dripping down the sub frame. On a quick look, there seems to be coolant dripping from the plastic T junction in the upper radiator hose. Has anyone had to replace this hose for a similar leak? Any other thoughts on where it might be coming from? I have heard the plastic hose junctions were problematic on the F150's so I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it is the issue.

Thanks

I got an ugly introduction to that in my f150. IF (and I don't know that it is) it is the same design and material then usually the failed part in the Y is an o-ring seal that shrinks --and a pick and a $5 replacement seal fixed that. Replacement Y hose is also available. I only noticed mine after it was a gusher. This is common on the 5.0 trucks and mustangs not sure about eco boost setup

Kudos to 195K! The SHO is the first car I have owned since a 1988 Civic that I plan to keep far past 100k miles! Good luck on the repair. Posts pics and notes, if possible.
