Coolant hose ????

Ok I have been replacing coolant hoses all week when I found out I had a cooliant leak someware under the hood.
yesterday I cleaned the engine and then added dye to the antifreeze and found my leak.

It is leaking out of a rubber hose that I can barely reach coming out of the end of the rear head drivers side just below the valve cover.
I cant see where it goes to and I cant find that hose in any of my books.

Anyone know what that hose is and called?

What would you say is the diameter of the hose? (w/o pix it's hard to tell)

are you possibly talking about one of the heater hoses that goes thru the firewall ?? pics would help alot.
