I Noticed Today My Fan Is Not Coming On After My Temp Gauge Went Up, And Oil Light Was Flickering, I Checked The Fan With The Ac On, No Fan, Then I Jump The Fan By A Direct Line To Battery And It Spun, Checked Fuse It Is Good, I Read Some Posts On This But I Am Still A Little Confused If All This I Checked Is Good What Else Could Be The Problem And Where Is It Located In The Car? Thanks Guys

If it's an ATX it may be the voltage dropping resistor. More than likely it is the CCRM though. Try giving it a whack when the fans should be on.

Its located right under the belt route plastic , front engine. Other may call this a IRCM. Theres a big letter on it , you need to match the letter when you replace this.

I had the following symptoms; oil light flicker, fan not coming on and temp gauge shooting up and down. The culprit was the engine ground strap. I relocated it to a better spot on the intake and problems resolved.

If it is what I just mentioned it can't get any simpler than that. If its not that ground strap it could be another connection problem somewhere.

The flickering lights in conjunction with the fan issue leads me to agree with the ground strap diagnosis. Check your battery connections to make sure they are good and clean also. Loose contacts can cause a ton of weird electrical issues! Good luck.

I agree on the grounds. Redoing the grounds and battery cables on my car helped tremendously with grounding. I even noticed a definate increase in sound quality in my system. I also noticed a more consistant idle.

If the grounds turn out to be fine and that does not fix it, I would try to locate a used CCRM that was known to be good and swap it in.
