Easy fix just as I'd hoped :)

The rearmost TB coolant line, the one that goes down, then bends 90 degrees back to the block, had a 1/2 inch gash in it. The gash was back near the engine block, so I couldn't see it Thursday night, but today with daylight and the air intake tube out of the way it was plain as day. $1.00 and 45 minutes later I'm back on the road.

Easy fixes are nice :) After doing freeze plugs in my 91 the coolant hose right by the oil filter split open and I lost most of my brand new coolant. I got a foot of hose for $.60 and some more coolant and I'm good to go.

BTW, did you have problems keeping the new hose bent without collapsing? I had to wait until the coolant had heated the hose enough to make sure it would flow through... otherwise maybe I need a longer hose (which would hit the rad fan) or more flexible hose?

If you wanted to get crazy with it you could run it to a trans cooler. You get a small addition to the cooling system right before the oil cooler and you dont have to worry about the hose kinking, just a thought
