Convert my SHO to run on bio diesel?

This has probably already been done but could someone point me in the right direction for some info on converting an SHO over to run on bio diesel? With gas prices being high I would like to get my SHO up in to the 35 mpg range in town and I think if I converted it over to run on bio diesel I could probably get around that. Plus I work at BK so I could make the fuel really cheap myself.

Second do you think it would be worth the trouble adding a turbo or just leaving it NA?

Any info would be appreciated.

why not just rig up a cylinder deactivation?
ive seen a few videos where this was done,one of them was a Duratec Taurus.

You would have to convert it to a COP ignition then if I am not mistaken...


Although again... Not worth it....

Power surge did the COPs before. Just need to find a newer Taurus in the JY and they'd be cheap.

rod bearings are bad enough as it is.. make the SHO a diesel and your gonna throw all 6 bearings first 20 mins its running.

remember diesels make power down low... a SHO does not and is one of the reasons rod bearings go bye bye in the SHO

the tolerences on SHO rod bearings are some of the smallest seen and if you were to compair that to a small block and your hanging on the edge of destruction
