For those Texans that want to go but are having trouble coming up with the $85. buck a night hotel I found a Studio 6 in Memphis, a 2 room suite is running for $51. bucks a night if you reserve over the internet. It's close to the airport and is about 15 miles from the host hotel.

I've got my reservation in at the host hotel, so I get to pay somewhere around 100 bucks per night. All I can say is that king bed and smoke free room better be one REALLY nice room. I'm sending my convention stuff in on thursday, so I'm all signed up.

Find someone to split with. Drinking in the hotel parking lot is what the convention is all about. Can't really do that if you have to back to another hotel.

Well I don't drink so I'm out on the drinking in the parking lot anyway, plus the hotel I found will end up saving me 50 bucks a night plus the room has a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator. 50 bucks a night savings for 4 nights is 200 bucks that's 6 tanks of gas.
