Working at a lincoln/merc dealer I have worked on quite a few later model v8 continentials. They have aluminum knuckles and lower control arms with standard springs(they did away with the air springs in 97? i think). Has anyone used any of these parts on the SHO's or does that era of continental not interchange anything with the Taurus?

I tried searching and didn't find anything :salute:

The subframes have the same chassis mounting geometry.

The LCA's are not the same, IIRC. I think the Lincoln has a wider track or something like that.

Interestingly enough, the Continental drivetrain and subframe will bolt up to a Taurus of the same generation. This IMO was the fatal flaw in the one instance where someone tried to bolt up a pre 1995 Conti drivetrain to a Gen 3 Taurus.
