I'd rather have a yamaha, than to swap a V8 in my SHO. Im sure there are much better platforms. Anyways, I dont know if the subframe bolts line up but I do know that a spindle assembly from a 93 continental is the same as a 94/95 Taurus/Sable spindle assembly. So there's a good chance, Ive just never really looked at a continental subframe.

It's been done in a Gen 3, albeit with some sort of wiring issue. If I were to do it, I'd use a pre-1996 setup for a gen 1/2, and 1996 and later setup for Gen 3/4, so as to have the proper suspension geometry and such.

It's a very tight fit, but it will fit.

Well, if it will bolt up to a 3rd gen it will bolt up to a 1st or 2nd gen. The subframe mounting points are the same on all 3 gens.
