console Ebrake?

I was considering changing over my parking brake to a handbrake, and I'm wondering if it's ever been tried before, and if it's at all possible, or if anybody had any tips. Thanks

I have been thinking about doing this as well..Went into the "hot rod" books and am looking at a Lokar set up for a rod, that maybe possible to hook up. Its just the cable routing that has me puzzled..no drive shaft tunnel, just a big ole gas tank

i was up at Summit Racing yesterday and they had a universal e-brake handle and it made me think of this post. i dont remember what it cost but i thought the price wasnt that bad.
