I hope there is not a thread for this, I did look for an hour and found nothing.

I have a bad running SHO that will not give up any codes. The CEL does not even blink to tell me it is engaged in searching for codes at the beginning of the key on test. Did a reset twice, each time for hrs. Even changed out the computer for a know working one, same no code. Checked visable grounds.

What to do? Where to look?

Also changed out the complete intake with a spare(from a running SHO) with no difference in symptoms. Hesitation at initial throttle application, no opening of the secondaries above 4k RPM. Intermittent stalling at idol while driving, but not idoling in the drive way. Starts like it should.

Thanks, SHObhakti

Just one place to start...does it run better if you unplug the MAF?

I removed my cluster in a relatively short amount of time. It's fairly easy on these cars, compared to say my 2003 cavalier.

It's just the darned speedo cable, I have never been able to get the pin out of the trany fiting and have it be reusable, the rest like you say is easy. Little busy this afternoon, probably get to it tonight. Thank you gentleman for the help thus far.

OK, been busy lately, but just got back inside today after replacing the cluster with an other one. The old one had a burned out bulb at the CEL, so I thought maybe best to just replace the whole thing.

Still no CEL with key on or running!

Ideas?
