computer can not communicate

went to ford today they said they could not scan my car because the computer will not communicate with their tools i just had the computer put in a week ago anyone have this kind of probolem before or any ideas whats going on ...im lost

Clean the connectors and try again. I use the nailfile/toejam thingy you'd find on your everyday toenail clippers to do the task.

I Took Out My Computer To Clean It And I Noticed One Of The Pins Are Boke In Half Could This Cause My Stumbling And Feelings Of A Misfire ...

Yes having a broken pin on the plug is not going to do your car any good.

The effect will depend on WHICH pin is damaged. Some will have more of an adverse effect than will others.
