Cold Air Intake

I know, another can intake.... lol

Anyway I thought that I would throw some pictures up so others could see a different take for induction on a v8 SHO. Still working out bugs on the car (sensors)
but when it does decide to move she does just fine...

Features of this intake is a can shield around a 6 inch cone filter. The can seals against the body of the car and is feed by 3 inch tube pulling high pressure air from the front bumper area (I hope so anyway...).

i did a air intake on mine today and the filter is just in the engine bay and at 3400 rmp wen the runners kick in the car seems to choke up any ideas?

If the intake is in the engine bay, you are sucking in a bunch more hot air at that point, which is not good. But in truth, more likely something else is wrong, from the sounds of it. Did it run correctly going past 3400 prior to the modification?
