It depends on the application. If you are running stock turbos then a drop in filter in the stock air box is more then adequate. The stock air box is a ram air cold air intake. It is draws air from outside the engine compartment, and it flows more air then the turbos can actually use.

Awesome sucky sucky noises with the epp intake. Whether that awesome noise is worth the price tag, that is debatable. Performance wise none of them are noticeable by the **** dyno.

Don't forget about the ability to check/put in more trans fluid without taking out the whole thing.

As you start building more boost the stock system will most likely start leaking forcing you into the EPP intake. The EPP intake works pretty good. It is expensive made in China stuff and the fitment and welds on my kit weren’t great BUT it works.

We need someone with a Michigan SHO to drive over to FENFAB so that we can get another intake option.

Yea I don't think there is a difference you can feel, I have a K&N intake and a AEM drop in and the only difference between them is I can now hear the turbos with the K&N.

Didn't MCM bust this like 10yr ago? As for flow levels, I would wager there are maybe 4 guys on here that are running set ups that actually need more flow than the stock box can supply. As for temperature, The turbos heat the air up plenty so if you want a true cold air intake, spend your money on meth injection or a bigger intercooler.
