i searched for like 20 minutes to try to find something like it but couldnt so i made a new topic.
ok so i got my bittersweet cold air intake in the mail today.. so i take out my stock airbox, unhook maf sensor and temp. sensor.
now i got it all in there easily. but when i started my car it idled alright but then i revved it up abit (about 3500 i believe) then it made some weird whine/groan/moan sound and the rpms dropped to about 500 and it stalled (94 atx). it does this pretty much every time the rpms go past 3 grand. even driving it would want to stall sometimes but i'd just hit the gas let it go to about 2000 and then it would settle down.
so later on i put the stock airbox back on and it worked fine.. then i figured maybe it was the temp. sensor so i unhooked it and let it just sit there like it was with the CAI but it ran perfectly fine.
oh and i did unhook the battery for about 20 minutes after it was installed.. but this was after i realized it was running bad.
anyone know what could potentially be the problem? maf sensor maybe? i'm stumped
