Yes, that's right, another new product.

These custom units allow you to keep your stock or aftermarket struts. Your car can be lowered from 0 - 2.75 inches with the simple turn of the included adjustment lever. The lever is easy to use, and designed to have sort of a ratcheting affect, for quick lowering and raising. This is perfect for track cars.

Pricing is $500.00 for the initial product rollout and will go up after that.

I need 10 buyers by the 15th of March.

Any questions, comments, harrasing assaults, etc? :)

Mods: GB fee has been paid and is pending posting by Beth.

0 - 2.75 front and rear both or would there be a different choices for front and rear? In what incriments (sp?). I think it would look great though, that is an SHO slammed that much.

I might be interested in a set.

I would like a little more information before I can say for sure. Would these be similar to the IPT coilovers, or the GC coilovers I have recently heard some negative comment about?

They are definetly closer to the ground control kit. The IPT kit is great quality, but I just can't see people shelling out $1000 to buy that type of set up anymore.

The car that we have tested this on is running poly strut mounts and has been brutalized, with no problem to report.

Details to come.

Does it come with the springs, if so, what spring rate? Koni's going to be able to be adjusted, or will there be an interference problem with the ****, etc.

How do you compensate for camber adjustments, or is that up to the owner to deal with, via camber plates or other method?

Sounds awesome Mike, just wish I hadn't JUST paid $1k for some used ones last Sunday. wink .

I figured I'd just start this off by calling you a ******* great guy :D For $500 hhhmmmm, will these be offered later or is this pretty much it? Do you happen to have pics of these? I'm guessing most of the quirks have been worked out compared to the old IPT's. I heard they're traveling distance was not far enough or something like that.

750/ 450 unless something else is requested, Koni's can be adjusted, camber adjustments will need to be made via eccentric bushings, camber plates, or adjustable control arms in the rear and camber plates up front.

I could possibly be interested, but I am a little confused by the camber adjustments. What are these eccentring bushings, and how avalible are camber plates, how difficult are they to install?

I'm a little biased Fred, but I think you got a pretty good deal. wink

Assuming you made Fred's set, then yes, well worth the money. :)

The picture is generic, as I don't have a pic of them off of the car and don't want a picture of dirty salt covered units.

Mikey, are you testing these with Koni's ? And how is the ride/handling in comparison to the Koni/Intrax setup ?

Would the highest setting be more like a stock height or would it be lowered over stock? The reason why I would even care about this issue is that the Intrax springs on the front of my car are almost too low for these wonderful Pennsylvania roads. Subframe bottoms out on large dips and struts run out of travel on bumps.

Thanks for bringing all these new products to market. thumb

Mike, I may be interested in these at some point, since I recently got a second SHO that will be a track-only car.

Some Q's, though:

Do these use the stock top mount or how do you handle that?

Are there sleeves available to fit the various strut diameters? e.g., if I have a set of fat struts (if only I could remember the exact diameter at this moment...), will the sleeves fit?

Do these use the typical stock 2.5" i.d. springs, e.g., is there a variety of spring rates and lengths to choose from?

Sorry for all the Q's. Expiring minds and all that...

I guess I wont be interested.
Eccentric bushings go on the control arms and are adjustable by turning them. None of the items are hard to install when you're doing a strut/ spring change.

Yes, Use police bushings. The car that they are on right now is running those with no issues. Personally, I think stock bushings are a bit too soft for these, but some may try anyhow. You were warned. :)

There are different kits for different struts. Tokico's, sachs, etc tend to be thicker in diameter than the stockers. So there is a size difference in the kits.

Do these use the typical stock 2.5" i.d. springs, e.g., is there a variety of spring rates and lengths to choose from?
Yes. As you know, the spring choices for 2.5 inch are virtually limitless.

Mikey, are you testing these with Koni's ? And how is the ride/handling in comparison to the Koni/Intrax setup?
They are being tested with Tokicos. The ride is as good as you would expect from a coil over setup. I wouldn't personally stick these on daily drivers, but I know a lot of people that do, including a friend of mine. Too teetch chattering for me. :)

I just got my coilover install finished today with IPT's kit and a 500/400lb spring combo with no FSB and a little 21mm rear bar. It's not brutally harsh but you definitely get some different results out of nastier sections of road than you do with the stock springs (read potential boing boing boing if you have more than one bump in a short section of road). The Konis seem to me to be pretty marginal...

I can't imagine running higher spring rates on the street. The rates I'm running would be close to useless on any sort of bumpy backroad run, though they should be great on the track.

If you could figure out how to make spring swaps easier (it'll be a lot easier than it is with the stock setup, but it's still a lot of work). I could run 300/250 on the street and 500/400 on the track. That'd probably make me pretty happy.

How much are different sets of springs in different spring rates? And would we buy them from a any Eibach dealer or from you Mikey?
