I was driving home yesterday on a 200 mile trip, and on about mile 180, the car stumbled for about 1 second, and then drove fine again. No CEL, codes show 111. I do however get a rough idle occasionally. Coil pack is 3-4 months old, possible it's going out again?

The coil packs in these go bad?

Make sure everything is tight, but that could be a bevy of things including vacuum.

The coil pack should set a 215/216/217 code if there is a true coil fault/failure (coil #1/#2/#3).

everytime I've had those symptoms....they never went away until I did a front 60k...IE crank sensor.

Edit...I take that back...

Once, it was a poor DIS connection.

Umm Ive seen these codes on failed DIS. It may be applicable for the coil itself too , I donno , but on my experience , these were caused by a failed DIS.

It's only an occasional rough idle. CEL never comes on, and there aren't any codes. When driving though, it'll sometimes feel like someone is lightly tapping the brakes, and then it'll pick up again. When it felt like it cut out, it almost felt like someone hit the brakes for a split second.

I don't think its the coil pack, but I'm not sure your rough idle and stumble are related.

The stumble on your trip makes me think CPS or cam sensor.

I swapped cam sensors, same issue...you know, I do have a pretty bad power steering fluid leak, so I'm wondering if the fluid is effecting something electrical. Leak is getting fixed tomorrow.

is it an accel coil pack?

Nope, Autozone.
