I am looking for coilovers for the Sho, they make sense for me as my car is a daily..with winter and all the ability to lift her up for the rude roads, then back down for other events(Warp factoring to sisters) makes good sense. Problem ..who has them?
For a dream set..I would, from whats been said about the IPT set, go with these, But someone said they are not being made? These with a set of the Tein struts would be cool..the ability to adjust the strut from the drivers seat would be awesome.
So, whats out there?or do I have to wait for somone to wrap up there car and try to beat everyone else out for the used units?

just so you know, you can't adjust the height from the drivers seat like cylinders. you have to get out and manually raise/lower it. Ipt coilovers are wonderfull though and if you've got the money deffinantly go for them.

nonono..the tein struts allow the driver to adjust the struts with a optional remote that you can pre-set..ie..highway cruising to auto-x, with one button press. rather than getting out and having to adjust the strut like a Koni.

So Shawn,

Are you saying that I can adjust the coilovers you guys are making from inside? I'm a little confused.

no, Shawn's setup requires you to go outside and adjust the koni's by popping the hood (or breaking your hand in the trunk) or adjusting height by moving the threaded collar on the housing. The other person is talking about some manufacturer of struts that allows you to adjust the strut characteristics (dampening) from inside the car. That most likely will never happen, due to Tein not even making a strut for the focus yet. They'll certainly laugh at the idea of making them for a taurus.

Can't we always dream..there has been alot of things not available for the SHO that some enterprising individual has decided to go out and construct for there own use and it became mainstream...at least mainstream for SHO owners
