coil-over question

i have a set of ground control coil overs that were purchased years ago from midwest sho along with a brand new set of tokicos. it is all still brand new in the boxes. i was wandering before i get home and go to throw them on what else would be recomended so i cant get the car aligned and dont destroy things. oh yeah the car also has 225-50r16 coopers on stock slicers also brand new. thanks for all the advice i greatly appreciate it.

its a 94 mtx sorry i forgot that

I think you need Koni inserts to use the ground control kit, but I may be wrong.

You do need Koni inserts to use with coilovers. If the kit is the stock kit you will also want to purchase longer rear springs.

With modifications Tokicos will work, I have seen it done. I strongly dont recommend it because you can damage the strut modifing it and tokicos wont dampen the stiff springs supplied with the coil over kit.

Your going to need shosource's caster and camber plates...as the stock strut mount won't hold long without them! also! Koni is what your going to need also, just like everybody said.

You can mod them for Tokicos but they will not last. I know it was done but they didn't last at all. You need Konis.

while the sho source plates are very nice, they are not necessary. Just will help with more/better adjustment

ok what about these longer springs that are mentioned what are the specs and where can i get them. i will definitely look into getting konis i dont know if i can swing them right now i may wait a bit at least till i am out of the dessert but hey this car aint getting put together till then anyway. thanks for all your help any other sugestions greatly appreciated

any 2.5" x 10" spring will work in whatever spring rate you would like to go with.

i have brand new strut mounts along with numerous other things sitting in the parts car just waiting to go on this one. i want to make it faster and handle better but still be able to drive it regularly. as stated before thanks for all the help and to let you all know i have made a donation to the site for my mistaken for sale add earlier in this post that has led to the sale of my struts thanks again to all.
