alright, first drive in teh SHO after i put in a new CPS.

i got these codes, not running:

172 - lean, rear
176 - lean, front
542, fuel pump open, bad ground, or always on

running:

412 - idle too low
411 - idle too high

Now, my guess is i have a vacumn leak somewhere, and that would explain 172, 176, 412, and 411. Could the 542 be involved in it as well?

on the way home, i noticed if i used too much gas when at low rpms (over 1/2 throttle, under 2,500)
it would stutter, and the CE light came on, and stayed on for about a minute.

Any ideas?

(3emeraldsho,

OK, you're on the right track. The o-2 sensor codes indicate a lean condition. Now, how are you going to look for, and find, a vacuum leak? What diagnostic steps are you going to take?

Did you leave a hose off? Did you reuse a gasket that you should have replaced? Did you forget to tighten a hose clamp? Slow down and think!

Vacuum leak.

Ignore the 542.

You are showing codes for both front and rear O2 sensors as lean. This is a strong indication that there might be a leak.

The 411 and 412 codes indicate that the IAB valve would not control the idle properly. Another indication of a vacuum leak since the IAB valve is a CONTROLLED vacuum leak, so to speak.
