Code assistance

Car has been running really bad lately and after doing some searching on the boards it sounded like it might be the Cam sensor (this post seemed to be exactly my problem(s). So I went out and picked up a cam sensor but figured I would pull the codes just to see if the pointed to the same problem. What I got was a code 81 which seems to be pointing at the Inlet Air solenoid. I tried searching for this code on the forum but didn't have any luck. Does anyone know if this is still pointing to a bad cam sensor or is my problem something else? Any help or guidance is appreciated. Thanks!

Code 81 refers to an electrical fault witht the solenoid that controls the secondaries. Make certain the solenoid connector is plugged in. Same as 551 in later years.

Thanks Steve! Could you point me in the direction of where this solenoid is located? This way when I get home from work tonight I can check it out.
