There's not much on this one in the search forum!...Has anybody came acrossed this one? And if you did, how did you go about fixing the problem? The relay could be bad as there is a slight voltage leak somewhere, I talk to Eric Vervalin about it..Said it could be where the voltage is going!

"High speed Electro Drive Fan circuit failure." I'm a 92 guy... my fan only has 1 speed. :) I was wondering if there was another relay somewhere, or are there 2 relays for the fan in the CCRM for the 93-95's... (M code?).

All ATX cars should have a code "J" CCRM. If you have any other type CCRM in there, the test will fail.

The circuit for coil of the high speed fan relay is checked. When it fails due to either an open circuit or a short circuit, the 563 is posted.

Check for 50-100 ohms between pins 17 and 24 of the CCRM. Replace CCRM if reading is out of specification.

Check for no short-to-ground CCRM pin 17 in both the module (replace CCRM if shorted) and the vehicle harness (repair harness).

Check for continuity between PCM pin 31 and CCRM harness connector pin 17 (repair harness).

If no faults are found, replace the PCM.
