511 (O) No power to PCM pin 1 or bad PCM (processor)

Should I pull my superchip???? What's going on? It's running rich and overheating, could this have something to do with it? And what is PCM pin 1? How do I know if it's the pin or the whole system? If I pull my superchip do I have to replace it with a factory ECU or anything?

Now I'm just more confused... I pulled the Superchip, and the 511 is gone, BUT it said in that thread that any aftermarket chip would give a 511. And it said to ignore it... So what should I do??? Do superchips actaully make any difference on SHOs?

Test 511 indicates that the PCM's ROM has failed its internal checksum test.

When you strap on any aftermarket chip, you change the ROM checksum and induce the 511 code when running the PCM Quick Test.

If you insist on running an aftermarket chip, ignore the 511 code. It is not relevent to your installation.

My suggestion is to get EVERYTHING running properly before installing the superchip.
