code 452

i ran the KOEO self test on the weekend, and i got the following:
452 - insufficient input from vehicle speed sensor
542 - fuel pump secondary circuit failure

from looking around at other posts, the 542 is likely a result of a stall, and i just need to clear the codes... does anybody know about the 452??

any help would be appreciated...

You may want to clear the codes and try again.
I believe the 452 is only present during KOER test, not KOEO. I could be wrong on that but that is my feeling.

Did you get that code during KOER, or only KOEO? If only during KOEO then perhaps you wrote it down wrong while the test was going on?

Was the 452 a memory code from the batch of numbers after the separator pulse? If so, you may want to clear the codes and check for a reoccurance of this problem. It would indicate that the vehicle speed sensor on the speedometer cable take-off from the transmission is failing.

well, i'm pretty sure i got those codes from the KOEO test, but i'm going to try clearing them tonite, and see if that sorts it out... thanx for the posts guys, i'll let you know what i come up with...

well, i cleared the codes last nite, and did the KOEO, KOER and "weak cylinder" test, and got "system pass" on all 3...
