insufficient egr flow, rcm said replace the silver module on rear of intake before replaces actually egr valve, did that now the check engine light is always on, before it went off and on, should i replace valve. clean it somehow?

Your egr nostrils in the intake are gunked up. Follow the link for a how-to on cleaning them.
