just search "Clean EGR valve". There are literally hundreds of posts on how to clean your EGR valve.

Bump. This 332 wont go away. New DPFE (twice) Clean EGR passages, replaced solenoid, working EGR valve. The only thing we havent replaced is the EGR itself, as I can see it working. Any ideas?

I concur with hawkeye18. I had to jump two wires from the DPFE to the EEC on my 95 SHO. After about two years of chasing this problem.

Hey James.

About 8 years ago or so, I ran into this with my first 94 ATX.

I installed a vacuum gauge in each of the two vac lines to the DPFE sensor then watched them during the EGR test as I ran the KOEO test. As I recall, one port remained constant while the other dropped when the EGR valve opened. I was able to also watch the output voltage of the DPFE sensor change in direct proportion to the EVR solenoid voltage.

As I remember (and it has been awhile) when testing that one, the engine's RPMs dipped during the self-test as the valve opened but the DPFE sensor failed to report the change in EGR flow. Dead sensor on that one. After replacing the sensor and re-running the test, I was unable to discern the EGR valve's opening although I did see it on a vacuum gauge installed in the EGR valve green hose circuit.

Remember, I work on electro-mechanical stuff for a living, to me this is a simple closed-loop feedback control system, something I've worked on for thirty years.

Mine showed the correct voltage too. It might be an intermitent problem causing the 332 code which might be a bad wire. Once I ran new wires to the EEC the problem was fixed.

I'm just a shadetree schmuck and I have no idea about how this system works, but I've seen cracks in the EGR tube that sealed themselves with temperature changes and also with a lack of road vibration.
