That was the fix?

First time I ever heard of that issue. I guess if cars get old enough you find new odd failures.

That was the only issue, I wasn't going to admit it that's probably why I deleted the video, but I don't know anyone here and even if I did im over it.

I have no idea why my car wouldn't pass the diagnostic test stated in the manual, I didn't ever see the resistance values present or if I did it was fleeting and the resistance would change. Both testing through the breakout box and without it.

Figuring out that they'd changed the diagnostic procedure and turned it into a proper diagnostic procedure in the 95 manual vs the 92 was helpful for future reference. I found the problem by accident snap revving the engine, I saw the intake being sucked closed right by the throttle body. I was leaning over and didn't notice it earlier while I was inspecting the secondaries.

I don't think this would be possible if you had the factory air box in there.

Look, however you find it and fix it doesn't really matter. As long as it's good. Even that crazy issue goes into the memory bank and-- you never know if you get 2 in a million and someone else has intake issues. At least it wasn't something boring like crank sensor failure

Here's the video for your viewing and laughing pleasure. You can also see where I rewired the tps for no reason.
