well Josh doesn't sell Ford OEM clutches anymore. Anybody with any experience with the South Bend rallye clutch, for $285? Looks to be a little more HD than stock, I don't want to put a ton of cash into this car.

I also heard Josh's new HD PP and clutch disc is a great setup for $375. This setup will soon be in my car so unless you want to wait another couple weeks to allow me to break it in, go with that one or the SB Rally. I would also look into a ceramic TOB from SHO Nut.

FOR SHO:
I have their tz clutch. I hear the rally clutch is pretty good.
FOR SHO, how do you like the tz? That is the kevlar puck clutch, right? It looks tempting, but its $150 more than the rally, for my use probably not worth it. Did you notice a big difference in pedal effort?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this will be a killer setup. But untested yet; you can be the official tester :D

The clutch feels completly stock only with MUCH better grip, but the engagment is smooth. Worth the 430. I also beleive the pp is reinforced.

FWIW, I have the 9-puck fibertuff disc in my car now and I had a slight problem with it today. Not sure whether it's the clutch or the clutch/ 8-lb aluminum flywheel setup I have, or even something else. But I went to launch at about 2K rpm and the clutch just slipped the whole way, even into 2nd. Starting to think about a different clutch material like a metallic one, especially for when I start running the nitrous on the car (if I ever get it running right :) )
Anyways just my 2 cents worth. It's probably just an isolated problem anyways.
