The video is PERFECT for a first-timer.

I bought one and did the clutch myself. I had to have somebody help me drop the tranny off, but I did ALL of the wrench-turning.

If you don't have a lift or jackstands, they're about $10-20 apiece, and absolutely necessary.

I'd recommend new studs/ nuts for the y-pipe, they often times break when you try to remove it. You should also have new hub (axle) nuts, since you have to remove them and shouldn't reuse them.

Also, if your exhaust is old, a donut gasket (at the end of the y-pipe) will be necessary, or it's LOUD. :D

You don't have to remove the axle nuts to replace the clutch...

Yea dude, you don't have to remove the hub nuts for a clutch replacement. While we're on that topic you really don't even have to drop that Y-pipe either ;)

You can Paypal www.shonutperformance.com if you can't use a credit card. Get the clutch replacement video and see if this is something you can do on your own.

The video is a MUST. I debated on doing it myself, but I'm glad I did. For you, don't forget you may need the flywheel upgrade from the 9.25 to the 9.75. You can check this before you start by removing the starter, feeling the PP against the flywheel. If the PP isn't flush with the flywheel, you'll need to get the 9.75.

Good luck.
