i could not get my clutch to "self adjust" i did a search and everything, to see if im doing it right, does this mean my clutch is fully "adjusted" cause it still seems to engage late.
edit:and a friend of mine was asking if i would be able to put spacers in there to take up that extra slack

There is no need for spacers... You can try to manually adjust the cable by crawling under the dash...

Here is a mini write-up (sorry I dont have pics):

1) Move seat back as far as possible to allow room to get way under the dash.

2) Looking up at the base of the clutch pedal you will see a blue box with some teeth on it and of course the cable going through it.

3) This blue box rotates to allow for adjustment.

4) If you feel that the clutch engages too late in the pedal travel period, you will want to loosen the cable (you will want to rotate the box and cable toward the firewall). If you feel the clutch engages too early, or doesnt release completely you will want to do the opposite.

5) To rotate the box, press up on the pedal itself to release the box mechanism. Then try and rotate the adjusting box mechanism toward the firewall (clockwise if you are in the same position that I was when I did it). You should hear it click, and ussually one click is enough.

6) Try that and see how you like it.

disclaimer: If you mess it up and break your car by adjusting too far one way or the other dont blame me. :thumb:
