I could not find anything relevant in the search I did...
Ok my problem is: I was driving and I shifted from 1st to 2nd at around 6700 RPM's when I went to put it in second my clutch seemed like it wouldn't fully disengage. I slowed to a stop and put it in first. When I took off, the second I let the clutch out ~1cm the car started vibrating... the clutch would not fully engage until ~1cm from the top... I just started the car and tried to back out and my car doesn't even want to idle. When I do push the gas and let the clutch out just a tad, it tries to die??? My whole clutch(read: friction disk, throwout bearing and pressure plate) was replaced less than 10,000 miles ago. I got the clutch from NAPA and the throwout bearing from ford. I was planning on going out of town tomorrow! Please help me!!!
Thanks!

Is it making any type of noises during any of this? If you let it idle in neutral without pressing the clutch pedal do you hear anything, or feel anything?

Well, first off, that car isn't going out of town tomorrow unless you can do a clutch job in one day. Better call a rental car company.

The exact failure will be determined when the tranny is pulled, but from the sounds of it, I'd say that the PP fingers/TOB failed.

When I let the clutch out in first gear it sounds like the clitch pedal is rattling! When it's in nuetral and the clutch pedal is out, it sounds like something is rattling but only for a few slight seconds, then it goes away as if nothing happened. And no it is not going out of town today. That is why I said"I was planning on going out of town tomorrow! Please help me!!!" Thank you for all your input I am leaving soon and I will fix it when I get back(I guess). Please leave more input if you have any though as I will be checking up on this thread when I get to Dallas...Thanks again!!! pcorn

pressure plate from NAPA?

Was is a re-manufactured pressure plate?

I have similar issues at the moment (SHO has been parked for 2 weeks) but I also have a weird vibe in the clutch pedal when I depress the clutch. Sometimes the clutch engages high, sometimes low.

I figure it is a combination of TOB to pressure plate finger wear, and possibly a broken pp strap.

Your problem does sound like a PP strap.

Park it.
fix it.

As far as I know it was not remanufactured but it coud of been. The box did not say it though.

The pressure plate strap was what I was thinking too, but would it cause that weird of an engagement but not slip once the clutch pedal is out? I also thought that the TOB release bushing could have broke??? Or the TOB itself???
When I get back I will be fixing it(Hopefully), but it is parked... For now...Mwahahahaha!!!! evil_gri
