I've done all the searching I think I can handle for one weekend. I just installed a new CM stage 1 clutch, with new friction plate, new pressure plate and a resurfaced flywheel, new throwout bearing, new quill sleeve, new motor mounts and new clutch cable. I can't get the clutch to DIS-engage (correct term?) Basically meaning that once I get it started, I can't get it into gear, and if I try to start it in gear the car tries to move even with the clutch to the floor. I tried to manually adjust the quadrant (baby blue piece) about 10-15 clicks with no noticable improvement. I got some help and had someone hold the release arm back and pulled up on the pedal a few more clicks and got it to work halfway decent, but after reading about excessive force on the TOB on the PP fingers, I don't think this is correct. After accidently tapping the pedal getting out of the car, it "self adjusted" right back to where it wouldn't work again anyways. Could I have a faulty quadrant, worn fork, this Clutchmaster PP problem I heard about, or is it something more serious? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
