Clutch Position Switch

I did some research and found two different part numbers. The Gen 1's use a Motorcraft part # SW-2199 (OEM part # is E9FZ11A152A) and the Gen 2's use a Motorcraft part # SW-2332 (OEM part # is F2DZ11A152A). Both parts are obsolete, but Kevin found some new old stock SW-2199 switches on EBAY. Can I use the Gen 1 switch on my Gen 2? From what pictures I could find they look almost exactly the same.
