clutch pedal problems...

For awhile now my clutch pedal has been a bit wobbly, meaning you can turn it left to right and push and pull it with the pedal being very loose. Well it's now worse and it's become very hard to put it in gear. I'm preety much stumped on it, and i'm sure i've tried everything I can....any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a broken quadrant. Prepare yourself for a little "upside down" time.
