wow this car is like opening a can of worms. So I am doing work on my car and had the front drivers side wheel, caliper and rotor removed. I start up the car in nuteral and notice that the hub is spinning very very slow and if I hit the accelerator pedal it starts spinning faster. I push the clutch all the way in and it stops spinning..

I replaced this clutch less than 2500 miles ago, are the pressure plates wearing out already?

That would be the transmission internals spinning. There is enough friction, even with it out of gear, for it to turn the wheels slightly.
