I'm putting in a clutch, and the clutch actuation shaft is very corroded and rough. It looks like it would probably chew into the new teflon bushings pretty quickly.

Does anyone carry replacement clutch fork shafts? I've seen the forks in a few places, but not the shafts.

Thanks,
Nate

Thanks, I'll see what I can do to clean up the shaft.

Should I paint/coat it after polishing it up to prevent further corrosion? I would guess it'd be tough to keep the paint from coming off where it mates with the bushings, though.
