I'm doing my clutch tomorrow and I'm getting help from SHOstopper1992. I'm just wanting to know if there are any quick tips for this?

EDIT: might be good if I add the car lol. It's a 91 5spd of course.

EDIT: I posted this in the wrong section sorry guys

in that case just make sure you have a good engine brace to hold it up, if not i belive there is a thread on how to build one. cant realy think of any tricks the only time i had mine out was when i did my swap and i lifted the car off the sf

drop only the passenger side subframe and support the passenger side with a jack.... jack the car up while lowering the passenger side subframe untill you can pull the trans out... and i hope you have new subframe bushings and clutch fork bushings

Your advice sucks, because the trans is on the driver's side of the car...

It can be done that way, but its really best to use the engine support and drop the whole subframe.

The point of the engine brace is so that you don't need to drop the engine or disconnect any engine hoses or electrical.

1. Brace the engine
2. Drop the subframe.
3. Drop the tranny.

Do what you need to do and reverse the above.
