Drove the car around town yesterday running some errands and all is well.

On the way to work today, I noticed that a vibration was coming from the front floor board on the driver's side and the steering wheel would vibrate. This would only happen between 30-40 MPH. Under 30, the vibrations weren't there. Over 40, they weren't there.

Drive home for lunch. Same vibrations only a lot more pronouced at 30-40MPH. Driving back to work, run into the gas station. When I pull out of the gas station it's very pronounced and it's not just between 30-40mph. It's constantly there.

No matter what speed I drive, I have a bad vibrations in the steering wheel and I can feel a vibration coming from the floor board. Almost like something somethings constantly hitting the floor board. I'm not sure if it's just coming from the drivers side or not but it's sort of making me worried.

I'm going to take a look under the car tonight when I get home. Where to start looking? I read Boat's old post and I think it might be a sway bar end link. Any other suggestions as to when this could be?

:thankyou:

1) Check your subframe bushings. Make sure they are still there, that you haven't lost the bolt, and that they're in one piece (two actually :) )
2) Check for play in the tie rods on that side. Inner can definitely sound like that and would cause vibration.
3) Check for belt separation on that tire.

Clunk/Vibration in Floor Board and Sterring Wheel Vibration...UPDATE

Took it to shop and threw it on the lift. I grabbed the passender side tire and the Tie Rods are SHOT on both sides.

I don't think I've seen this much play when grabbing the front tires at 9 and 3 and moving them back and forth.

So, off to get inner and outter tie rods.

Should I go with the Moogs for the inner and outer?
