Has anyone come up with any ideas, or should we use the logo Andy designed? I think that Andy's is pretty good. If we decide on a logo soon, we may be able to have the stickers before the National Convention. (Andy-assuming you see this, could you post your design again?)

If no one has any other ideas, we should send Andy's design to the sticker place by the end of this week.

I'll try to draw up a few design on Illustrator in a day or two. See if anyone likes those better. If not I like Andy's design except it looks so pink (no offense)

Here's a link to the logo I designed originally, and here's another that's the same thing, only in blue. I can change it to any color, if anyone's got any requests. thumb

Lets try to have all potential logo's up by friday, so we can pick and get it out for decal making. Also, it will be used on our soon-to-be-started website!

Blue looks good, red looked good to it just had to be a darker red IMHO, the word club needs to be moved over also to go more into the shape of the state.

I will try to work on some designs tommorow as I have some free time as today was the last day of school EVER! boink

Shawn-looks pretty good too! If it helps in drawing these, the idea is that they will fit on a small sticker that can go in the small rear side window. Hopefully we can pick this weekend!

Shawn-if its not too much of a bother, could you do your idea again, only replace the large W behing the Badger with an outline of Wisconsin, just to see how that would look?

This is one of my designs. I think it would be too hard to make a sticker out of this. Maybe better suited for the website? And I ahh... Kinda changed the wording around to sound sophisticated(sp?).

I only have one concern with using "Bucky" is that it is a trademark and copywrited. We would have to ask permission right?

I never thought about the trademark, but I am sure you are right. We would undoubtably have to pay a fee to use a licensed mascot. I did like the one with the state silloutte behind it better. The one with the W looks too much like we are the University of Wisconsin SHO club. I like either Andy's or the second one with the badger the best for a sticker.

Would we be able to use the Badger without the Wisconsin sweater on him? Just make his sweater all one color (not red or white) and use him like that. Perhaps that would take care of any trademark infringements.

I like the one without the bucky.

The first one that Andy did looks real cool, just an outside opinion never hurts. wink

I'll email in my membership info later tonight, but I have to go with the non-Bucky vote. Nothing personal against him, but I think he represents Madison more than the state as a whole.

How about a solid silhouette of the state with the letters "SHO" cut out of it? And then WISHOC across the bottom? Clean & simple.

Just my $.03 :D
