My 1992 SHO has a air bag light which needs a new Clock Spring - my mechanic says that the part number is:

F1OY 14A664 D

Any thoughts on where I may obtain a replacement?

They can be repaired, and there are U-tube videos demonstrating how.

Look on E-Bay since you have a part number.

Look in this site for a 92 Taurus, Sable car being parted out, or put out an appeal in the "Wanted to Buy" section. Sometimes there is a difference in clocksprings between cars made in Chicago and Georgia, so look for that difference if you are dealing with a regular Taurus / Sable.

What code are you getting? My 92 is throwing a code 51. I've ordered the module located behind the glove box, with the thermal fuse. But I'm wondering if only replacing the module will end up with another blown thermal fuse. I would have no idea where to look for the cause.

Also, check with SV&HOdan, here on this forum. He has a plethora of used parts. He is sending me the module.
