well not really a mod unless you do it , hers a pic of the clock taken apart ,the neon green thing is what the bulb shines through to make it glow green , change that and your color will be changes , leave it out and it will be white , here sthe pic

Just put red cellophane in front of the green and you get this:

Just sounds easier than taking it all apart :) .

But..but..but...taking it apart and seeing what makes it tick is half the fun Edien! :p But it's a good idea if you want to just change the color and be done with it.

I took mine apart not long ago and went from green background (lighted) with black numbers and replaced it with one that was black background with green numbers (lighted). I'm now in process of playing with a Gen 2 blue digital one to see if I can make it work with a Gen 1 housing. wink
